P!nk should land on top of our SPS chart next Friday with the fourth-largest debut YTD. Beautiful Trauma will also collect 2017's largest opening week for a female artist. In other words: BIG. P!nk (RCA) 300-375k SPS, 290-340k album

Great sales for P!nk, but a shame the album itself is such a disappointment. đ

hitsdailydouble.com/news&id=308952Friday, October 20, 2017 THIS CHART STORY IS PRETTY IN P!NK
Beautiful TraumaâP!nkâs seventh studio albumâhas debuted at #1 on the HITS Sales Plus Streaming (SPS) Chart with a glorious 407k for RCA. Whatâs more, sales represent approximately 384k of that figure. That gives P!nk the biggest debut of 2017 by a female artist, and the third biggest since consumption was added to the charts; Adele (3.4m) and BeyoncĂ© (653k) are the top two. Additionally, Beautiful Trauma is the yearâs fourth biggest debut overall behind Kendrick Lamar, Drake and Ed Sheeran. The contributing ticket bundle is in the neighborhood of 200k, making it by far the biggest of the year. This week's second-largest bow belongs to Atlanticâs Gucci Mane, whose Mr. Davis arrives at #2 with 64k+. Beckâs Colors (Capitol) debuts at #4 with around 41k. As for the remaining new releases, St. Vincentâs Masseduction (Loma Vista) can be found at #13. Wu-Tangâs The Saga Continues (36 Chambers/eOne) is #14, and Robert Plantâs Carry Fire (Nonesuch) is #15. Then there are the noteworthy moves. Post Maloneâs Stoney (Republic) moves into the Top 3 for the first time since the setâs December 2016 release. Stoneyâs now-buzzing âI Fall Apartâ just went #31-6-4 on our Streaming Songs Chart. It also made it into the Top 5 of our Song Revenue Chart this week. Meanwhile, his mega-smash, ârockstarâ f/21 Savage, remains #1 on both. Ed Sheeranâs Divide (Atlantic) jumps #10-5 on the SPS chart, as latest single âPerfectâ goes Top 20 at Pop radio, moves #22-13 on the Song Revenue Chart and enters the Streaming Songs Chart at #32. KIDinaKORNER/Interscopeâs Imagine Dragons inch closer to making a Top 5 return, as Evolve hops #8-6. Second and current single âThunderâ just went Top 15 at Pop radio and Top 3 at Alternative; lead single âBelieverâ is still Top 10 at the latter. And Kendrick Lamarâs DAMN. (TDE/Interscope), which is at the center of Grammy Album of the Year conversations, rises #11-8. Further down on the chart, Astralwerks/Capitolâs Halseyâthe new face of Jeepâs âRelease Your Renegadeâ campaignâsees her hopeless fountain kingdom go #38-27. The last time we released our renegade, we were slapped with a restraining order. To be fair, though, Renegade is a terrible name for a pet ferret. When it comes to SPS marketshare, SME is victorious with 43%, UMG is #2 with 30% and WMG is #3 with 25%. The indies follow with 3%. Streeting this week is a red-hot surprise mixtape by Freebandz/Epic artist Future and Young Thug, as well as albums from Capitolâs Niall Horan, Capitol Nashvilleâs Darius Rucker, RCA Nashvilleâs Chris Young, Third Manâs Margo Price and Mercury Nashville's Tyminski. The deluxe version of Pentatonixâs 2016 Christmas album and an MTV Unplugged George Michael set are also coming via RCA and Legacy, respectively.
