About Us
Welcome to Arcadiamusic! We created this forum because we are passionate about all things music related. Our founding vision was to create somewhere that we could go to escape the stresses of real life; a kind of online hideaway for music lovers. In fact, the definition of Arcadia is "any real or imaginary place offering peace and simplicity"; and that's exactly what we've tried to create. We also want Arcadia to be fun and forward thinking - an ever evolving arcade of entertainment for everyone. Our only request is that you be yourself, and allow others to do the same.
Starting a new forum is fun and exciting, but also a great deal of work. We have invested a lot of time and effort into making this forum as good as we possibly can. Neither of us are coders, and we are very inexperienced at even the basics of forum construction. But through a lot of trial and error, we've got this far, and we hope it's onwards and upwards from here. Recruiting new members is undoubtedly the hardest part of all of this, because it's difficult to attract new people to a quiet forum (and hence a vicious circle). By registering for an account and actively posting on the forums, you can help us to achieve our goals.
We hope that you will help us to grow and share our vision. But, most importantly - have fun!

17/09/17 - We have now revamped the homepage and added some social media feeds. If you're able to like and share them, it would really help us spread the word! We have also added two new forum widgets - a birthday cake will now appear on your profile when you reach the big day (if you choose to share your date of birth), and you can now laugh at other people's posts by clicking the LOL button.
