 Hey y'all i'm planning to host a game very similar to ukmix's Forum Song Contest, for those of you not familiar with it: HERE. The main goal of this will be to discover "unknown" (this is difficult to define of course) songs. The concept is pretty easy: there is a presentation phase, when the participants present their country's entry, and then there's a voting phase, where all the participants vote for their favorite entries. RULES
- Try to pick a song AND artist you believe most people are not familiar with. (yes this is kinda vague i admit) The song cannot have been a US/UK Hot 100 hit!
- The artist must be a citizen from the country you chose or he must have been born there. If it's a band or, these conditions must apply to half of the members.
- Remixes are allowed, covers are not.
- You can pick any country of the world (separate entries for England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland are allowed)
- You can't vote for your own entry.
- Please don't discuss your votes before the voting is revealed!
Soo..we would need at least 10 participants, is anyone here for this?  |

You can pick any country of the world (separate entries for England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland are allowed) Would you please set the rules for the usual controversial territories like Hong Kong, Puerto Rico, Gibraltar, Faroe, Crimea, Kosovo, Palestine, etc.? What if a nation no longer exists in its original form? Can we use the country as it existed when the artist was born there? Examples: Yugoslavia, Rhodesia, South/North Yemen, Indochina, Sudan, Russian Federation, etc.) What if a band has members coming from three or four different nations (No majority)? |
