Which are your favourite horror films?
Getting ready for a line-up of horror films for this year's upcoming halloween
Gotta plan now!
Here's what I have in store
Halloween (1978) + don't know about the sequels Friday The 13th (1980) + don't know about the sequels (too many) A Nightmare On Elm Street (1984) + (maybe 3 and 4 and 5 too + again too many)

You know me so well moonlightfocus. Where do I even begin with the greatest movie genre!
Slashers are my favourite sub-genre and the ones you've mentioned about are Slasher CLASSICS and an absolute must watch. I'd add the first Texas Chainsaw Massacre and a couple of the recent remakes. The Scream trilogy is personal favourite but also absolutely love the SAW franchise (great story which is often overlooked due to the gore porn). Cabin In The Woods is also a great recent horror movie which really took me by surprise, it deserved all the reviews it got. I also love Valentine if anyone is familiar with that. It's a little trashy but most slasher horrors are, plus the mask is terrifying.

I don't do horror movies ... the closest I've gotten is watching Donnie Darko but that's not a horror movie, soπ

This!! I love the Scream series. Though I wouldn't say it's particularly scary haha Gore and things like that don't scare me to be honest, it's the suspense that gets me LOL not knowing what's gonna happen next etc. I haven't seen that many horror film, mainly because I have no one to watch them with and refuse to watch them on my own. I've seen Scream 1-4 I Know What You Did Last Summer The House At The End Of The Street The Descent There's more but I can't think of the names at the moment.
