The ones I have have found to work the best are Pulsar Music Player and foobar2000
Pros- Easy to move around between devices that you own

the ones I have found to work the best on Windows are Winamp, VLC, iTunes and foobar2000
Cons with iTunes - Sharing with multiple devices causes long syncing delays between devices to another
