A few months ago but to be honest we didn't really have the time to open it then. I decided to just open it last night and see how it goes haha😄😂

I mean, is there a reason why you guys didn't like Ukmix anymore / felt the need to open a new forum? Or is that too personal? 🤔 This will take some time getting used to, but I love the who's online function and that we're finally able to use iPhone emojis. 😍 |

Yeah there were reasons, I can't speak for Dan but I just didn't feel like it was as welcoming as it used to be. Registration was closed a lot because of bots, that no one seemed to actually put a stop to fully. And to be honest, I felt the way the mods treated Dan was kinda shit. I loved ukmix for along time but to be honest I just don't feel like I want to be there much anymore.

Thanks for joining guys. Great to see you  I'll always love ukmix, it's been part of my life for like 15 + years. I think one of the problems there is that the site owner is no longer around so it's hard to do anything new or bring in changes. Ka-Ching! and I really wanted this place to be something different and not a clone. It's a chance to evolve in new directions and to try out different features like including GIFs, making threads for untitled album projects, a chance to post hot guy pics, that kind of thing. Ka-Ching! always wanted his own country forum, and I've craved a latin forum for ages, so we finally got those too. We welcome new ideas and suggestions that make this place unique and different. |
