That Demi song is pretty good! Maybe I should actually give the album a listen. Daddy Lessons is awesome. But the First 2 singles are disgusting.
Anyway.. Avrils social Media is actually really active at the moment. Seems like she's partying and recording more music than ever even though she's been laying down vocals for 4 years lol.

So she had some Facebook live thing
-She said she has around 20 songs written
-Should wrap this month then go into mixing
-The album is "really cool"
-She's pushing herself to be "clever and poetic" with the lyrics
-Doing all of the songwriting on the piano. "Empowering and emotional. Tons of depth and very sincere"
-"the most personal record"
-Working on some "cool rock songs"
Definitely won't be out this year.

Some other things I remember her saying:
- The album has been done for ages on her end but all the good producers are busy so its been a long wait on the other end of things.
- She wrote 'Warrior' two and half years ago and she is only going into the studio this month to record it.
- The lead single is likely to be an emotional ballad about the past 3 year rather than an upbeat pop song. She also expressed interest in releasing two songs at the same time as the lead singles with the other being more upbeat because she has noticed other artists doing it and thinks it is a cool idea to just put out music whenever
