Yes, i loved the Stars Dance album so much. I think i played it more times overall than the Revival album. I can play it almost all the way through with each listen to this day. The Stars Dance album had more pop bops than Revival. I think it was her last album she did for Hollywood Records. Revival was under Interscope Records, and the overall vibe on Revival was kind of different than previous albums of hers. I guess the new label or herself wanted a new direction for her sound. Revival has more of a R&B feel to it and less poppy. I don't know? Also, a feature with A$AP Rocky on "Good For You" wasn't a really a thing she would do in the Stars Dance era. And, yeah. |

I still enjoy both albums very much. However, I haven't really been feeling the new songs she has been releasing this year.

As far as Selena's newer singles go..
I think that Selena is starting to suffer from the music industry trying to push her to be "trendy at all costs" and her unique artist persona, or lack there of is starting to diminish. Of course, if she wanted to, she could get it all right back and lead in the line of modern pop heros. Only time will tell if Selena has played her cards well or not.

Sometimes I forget that Stars Dance is full of bops.
But Revival is still my favorite.
