Hey D.! What do you reckon about setting "General Chart" to private (i.e. cannot be accessed by non-members)?. Same for profiles (should be private by default).

Not sure I know what you mean to be honest. Anybody can access all areas of the forum. There's a feature to lock certain parts of the forum from outside view (e.g. non-members). This is usually done to protect sensitive, private, etc., data.

Making profiles private doesn't really do much though, as anyone can register to see them.
We do have a setting that means only staff can see your email address unless you choose to make it public. This was implemented at the very beginning for security. I think as a general rule, if something is very sensitive or private, don't share it in any public spaces regardless of their privacy settings.
If there's something specific in your profile info that you don't want seen, let us know and we'll look into it. 🙂

But I only ever use the Spotify app..so I have to use the browser version? You can still do it using the app, just click on the ellipsis next to a song/playlist, share and then copy link

You don't ev n have to use the link button, just copy and paste it directly, it'll embed automatically. Same with YouTube, Instagram, twitter etc
